Producer Questions

What happens if the brand manager rejects my submission?
It's your video, you decide. You can post it to the web and revel in the fact that it's your creation and see what happens. You can hold onto it and post it for another commission. You can burn it to a CD/DVD, hold a mock funeral, and bury it in the neighbor's back yard. It's yours. You choose.
What is account suspension and what do I do if my account has been suspended?
There are several reasons why an account might be suspended, such as not having all the information we need to verify something on your account or potential copyright issues with a video you posted .
What about PayPal?
We're currently looking to expand our payment options to include PayPal and hope to have it out later this year. One thing to keep in mind with PayPal is that they do charge a service fee for the transfer. Should you choose to accept your payments through PayPal, the PayPal fees will be deducted from what would be your commission payment.
How do I know that I'll get paid?
When a brand creates an account on Zadby, they deposit dollars into an escrow account to be used to fund their campaigns and commissions. When your video gets viewed, dollars are taken out of the escrow account and used to pay you. This way you can feel confident that your hard work will be well rewarded. Of course, you've still got to compete with all the other bright video jockeys out there.
When do I get paid?
Zadby runs a billing cycle twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th. If you have a video that has been accepted and is currently being tracked for hits, you should expect a check every couple of weeks or so. Please note that we count your views in batches of 1,000, so that we're not forced to pay out only a few cents. So if you've only received 999 hits at the end of a pay period, your hits will roll over until the next period and provided that you get at least one more hit, you'll get paid the following pay period.
Why the limit to folks 18 and over?
The Zadby Terms of Service acts as a contract between the Producer and Zadby, specifying rights and responsibilities of the marketplace. As such, there are some limitations and considerations regarding individuals under the age of 18 when entering into these types of agreements. Hence the limitation. But if you are a budding videographer and under the age of 18, talk to your parent or legal guardian about their signing up for Zadby in your stead.
