Brand Manager Questions
- How do I know that the hits/views are not fraudulent?
- Zadby relies in great part to the safeguards put in place by the video hosting sites (YouTube, AOL, and MySpace). These sites use session information to limit the number of impressions/views that they record for each video. That being said, there may be ways to get around the safeguards and artificially inflate reported views. That being said, if the video shows solid view growth, the video will be picked up by the video hosting site as popular and listed in prominent locations on the site. This in turn will lead to increases in real views as the video receives added exposure on the site. Ultimately, Zadby reserves the right to suspend a video and/or the payments on a given video should we have reason to believe that the views have been artificially inflated.
- What happens if none of the videos are appropriate?
It's your money, your campaign, your decision. If none of the videos match what you're looking for, don't accept them. But, given the vast pool of talent out there, we'd be surprised if that's the case.
Any monies you deposit with us go into an escrow account and remain the property of the brand until a video has been viewed and dollars accrue to the producer. For more information on the escrow account and how it works, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
- When and how am I billed?
- Zadby will invoice you when you originally set up an account as well as whenever you would like to add additional funds to your escrow account for use in new or existing campaigns. These dollars remain the property of the brand until a video has been viewed and dollars accrue to the producer. For more information on the escrow account and how it works, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
- Why are the funds collected up front?
- It's very important to the video producers that they be paid in a timely manner. If we collected the view information, then invoiced you, the brand manager, and then finally paid producer, it would be six to eight weeks for them to get paid. Not good. Collecting the funds up front enables us to pay our producers twice a month. Much more inline with online expectations for immediate gratification. We would actually pay out more often if it were not for some pesky banking rules.
- What happens if there are funds left over in a Commission after the it reaches its end date?
- Any funds left in the Budget of a Commission when the End Date is reached will be automatically transferred back into the parent Campaign for use in other Commissions.
